Six Flags buys ArieForce One; its next park is unannounced

Six Flags has bought ArieForce One from Fun Spot America and is targeting a return in 2028 or 2029. The company’s September 8 announcement does not name a destination.

The Rocky Mountain Construction coaster opened March 31, 2023, and closed August 2, 2026, at Fun Spot America Atlanta in Fayetteville, Georgia, according to Six Flags. The company plans to keep the ArieForce One name and reassemble and enhance the ride. It has not specified those changes.

In her September 8 report, Dani Meyering of Attractions Magazine says Six Flags told the publication that multiple parks are under consideration and that it expects to reveal the destination by the end of 2026.

Meyering also considers Carowinds a possible fit. Her assessment does not establish a Six Flags shortlist. The receiving park, exact reopening date and planned enhancements remain unannounced.
