Return to Corkscrew Hill is planned for 2027
A post from the project’s creative lead describes a motion simulator. The park’s attraction page still lacks an exact opening date and rider requirements.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg is listing Return to Corkscrew Hill for 2027. The park’s official attraction page describes a continuation of the Corkscrew Hill story, beginning with a castle tour that goes wrong.
In a post published August 4, Kevin Boutte says he is directing the creative work on Return to Corkscrew Hill for United Parks & Resorts. He describes the planned attraction as a motion simulator, without specifying the hardware manufacturer or whether it will use headsets.
In the announced story, a witch traps the visitors and shrinks them. Their escape takes them across an Irish landscape and through a forest, with returning characters along the way.
As checked September 8, 2026, the attraction page does not give an exact opening date, height requirement or accessibility details. The park’s homepage confirms the year, but a 2027 listing alone is not enough to plan a visit around opening day.
